Dr. Lawrence P. Aggerbeck, formerly Director of Research in the CNRS and now retired, is interested in the effects of persistent organic pollutants on hepatic lipid metabolism in humans and animal models.

I am interested in the effects of persistent organic pollutants on hepatic lipid metabolism in humans and animal models. In particular, I am interested in the mechanisms by which exposure to pollutants leads to hepatic steatosis in diverse species.
